02 / NAVRENZA GUIDE

React installation

Install, preview and build the complete demo or the minimal starter.

Requirements

Use Node.js 24.14+ and npm 11+. Run these checks in your terminal:

terminal
node --version
npm --version

Run the full demo

terminal
cd adminbag-react
npm ci
npm run dev

Open the URL printed by Vite, normally http://127.0.0.1:5173/. If the port is busy it may select another. Visit /#/settings for appearance and /#/customers for a connected workflow.

Minimal starter

starter-kit is an independent React application with its own lockfile. It includes the shell and shared components without the large business demo collection.

terminal
cd adminbag-react/starter-kit
npm ci
npm run dev

Build and verify

terminal
npm run lint
npm run test
npm run build
npm run preview

Upload the contents of dist to your host. npm run preview checks the production build locally. Do not double-click the React index.html; ES modules require HTTP hosting.

CommandPurpose
npm run checkLint, tests and build
npm run test:e2eBuild and Playwright checks
npm run format:checkFormatting checks
npm run check:budgetsConfigured asset budgets

Optional environment settings

Copy .env.example to .env.local when configuring the Google Maps demo. Restart Vite after changes.

env
VITE_GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY=your_restricted_browser_key
