React deployment

Build and host the React application and its own documentation.

React production build

terminal
cd adminbag-react
npm ci
npm run build

Upload the contents of dist, including assets and documentation. The Vite configuration uses base: ./ and the app uses hash routes. For /react/#/customers the server serves /react/index.html. Do not publish src or node_modules as application files.

Serve beneath a subdirectory

The existing Vite base is ./ and routing uses hashes. Deploy the contents of dist into your chosen directory, then open index.html there. Keep assets/ and documentation/ together. Test refresh on /#/customers and the documentation link after upload.

Deployment checks

  • Run npm ci and npm run build.
  • Preview the build with npm run preview.
  • Upload the complete dist directory contents.
  • Check public environment values and API origins.
  • Keep credentials on the backend and disable demo role/reset controls.
